Linda Leslie
Linda Leslie works in oil and encaustic in an impressionistic style. The paintings are derived from graphite life-drawings, clothed mannequins, books and her wild imagination. Working with a simple traditional palette Leslie integrates the traditional and the contemporary, fantasy and reality, the finished and unfinished – allowing the viewer to complete the story. Leslie has been studying classical figurative painting for almost four decades. Her educational background includes studies at the Art Students’ League and the National Academy in New York. She resides in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
