Has art become your full time career?
It is definitely my career but I can’t say it’s full time – not yet. My kids are still little and I try to enjoy as much time with them as I can while they’re still cute and they like me. I’ll have plenty of time to hide out in my studio full time when they’re teenagers and they hate me.
What is your favorite medium?
My favorite medium is scratchboard, definitely. It allows me to capture the minute details that a paintbrush or pastel stick just can’t. But I do miss making a mess with my pastels and every once in a while I get back to it. I also love sculpture, but again, time permitting I just don’t get to do it that much.
